Cyberus® Direct Core
The Cyberus® Direct Core is a Windows-based measurement application that runs on your own PC. It gives you a software-defined framework to build your own measuring system — whether on a desktop computer, laptop, or panel PC. The app communicates with external components and fixtures as long as they meet the compatibility requirements of our app.
That means you’re free to design your system, select the mechanical and electronic components you need — and control them via the app.

Whether you’re using Cyberus® Direct Core or Cyberus® Direct StationOne, you only pay for the features you actually use.
- BASIC: 4 probe inputs (default configuration)
- EXTENDED: Adds 4 more inputs — measure with up to 8 probes simultaneously
- CODEREADER: Links measurements to part ID codes (e.g. from barcode or QR camera), enabling full traceability. Supports per-machine statistics — so you can trace parts back to the production machine
- PCIO, EXTIO, SUPIO: Digital I/O control for automation and sensor integration
- USER: Custom user authentication — via keyboard login, keyboard-emulated card reader, or serial port card reader

- A Peter Hirt RS-485 digital probe with interface. We chose Peter Hirt because they offer full protocol transparency — no vendor lock-in, no hidden layers.
- A hardware security dongle
- A suitable fixture (measurement setup)

How does it work?
Dead simple.

- Save and reload your project anytime.
- The user interface is touch-optimised — but works just as smoothly with a regular monitor.
- All measured results can be exported to formats compatible with most SPC software (e.g. Q-DAS, Minitab, Excel).
